FAQ

Is your Name really "Jesus" ?
My name is Jesus, Its a really common name to have in Mexico, but the pronunciation is not like "JESUS christ", in order to be correct you have to say it in the mexican form which is j-eee-sus in english is almost like yyee-sus ..

What Languages do you speak?
I speak SPANISH / ENGLISH , but I always use a translator to talk in other languages, so don't be afraid to use your language. I will find a way to answer you back

How did you come up with your logo and why?
And is there a back story to your logo?

I came up with my logo during in one of my first graphic design classes. The teacher strictly told us that we COULDNT use photoshop. Illustrator was the only tool.
And I was so scared because I know Photoshop pretty well but Illustrator is such a difficult program for me. So came up with ith in the class and because if you see in my deviations Butterflies are such basic concept in my art so I tried to give it a "BUTTERFLY" kind of feeling but not Literally. So many people don't know this but my logo is trying to represent life in a form of a butterfly but not literally

Where are you from?
I was born in Mexicali, Mexico, but I live in California, USA.

Are you currently at school? What Major?
Yes, I'm currently at school, working on my Associate of Arts, and I will transfering to San Diego State University (SDSU) on FALL 2011 or Spring 2012 (to finish my Bachelor's in Graphic Design)

I miss you all and I have something to say!

Journal Entry: Sun Jan 15, 2012, 11:10 PM

Hello Friends/Watchers

I just want to say the reason I've been gone!
Is going to be a brief message because my English is not 100%
but I just want to say that being in college and having people
critizing you on what you do has take a toll on me,
I was told that I was doing in Deviantart was not good!
and that is not called art by a great ART PROFESSOR in the college I'm
attending right now!! I felt horrible , but I found another true passion
PHOTOGRAPHY I havent post as much photography as I would like here
because my friends/watchers are not used to it,
but I just want you to know that I'm still finding myself!
I thought I had already found the person I wanted to be but
now I'm still lost!

I just want to say thank you to all the NOTES/MESSAGES I have
and people asking where I AM and it feels good in this moment to know that
people around the Globe (thanks to this websiite) still remember
DUSTER AMARANTH©
and you guys still are using my Resources (Photoshop brushes and Tutorials)

I just want to say T H A N K Y O U
and this is not a GOODBYE
but a see you later

Used your brushes here. [link]

Don't let what anyone else tells you make you feel bad. Your stuff is good. Just because some "professor" says different doesn't mean they are correct.
